Did you know 1 out of 3 Canadians under the age of 25 cannot afford period products?
Lack of access to basic necessities like menstrual hygiene or adequate nutrition keeps *hundreds of millions* of girls & women out of school and work even today.
And the pandemic has only exasperated the issue.
For this
International Day of the Girl Child, Lucky Iron Fish joined forces with DivaCup to give back to local organizations working to achieve menstrual equity.
MOON TIME SISTERS
supports 9 different First Nations communities in Northern Ontario, Quebec, and North West Territories with free period products.
CHANGING THE FLOW is a Canadian social enterprise dedicated to raising awareness and implementing programs to achieve menstrual equity.
Between both these organizations, 600+ Lucky Iron Fish units and 300 DivaCups are being donated to help communities in need.
