Research Team

Lucky Iron Life is currently developing new products to combat iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia. This work is funded through a combination of grants from the National Research Council - Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), Natural Products Canada (NPC), and funds raised by investors in the company.

To avoid any perception of conflict of interest, Lucky Iron Fish Enterprise has developed an arm's length relationship with a research team in Health Sciences at Carleton University, (Ottawa, Canada). This team of researchers have experience in developing and assessing the impact of innovations in maternal and child health.

The research team is led by Dr. Connor, Associate Professor Health Sciences.
