Scaling Up

We heard your feedback, so we've made some changes to our packaging and now we finally feel like we are on the same wave length! We are so excited to show you our new packaging, hitting retail shelves in 2017. We didn't want to reveal our new box without telling you a bit about the story of how it came to be.

Originally, the Lucky Iron Fish started with palm leaf packaing made in Cambodia (see photo below). The box was created by our friends at Watthan Artisans who employee people who were victim of the Khmer Rouge, the dictatorship in Cambodia during the 1970s. Today, the distribution of our Southeast Asia Lucky Iron Fish are packaged in these boxes.

When we began our e-commerce journey, we used a temporary packaging made in Cambodia from recycled Khmer newspaper! This unique box even included a little net to hold the Fish!

The first iteration of our branded box is made from post-consumer material and using vegetable dye. The box is made in Canada and indicates that we are a certified B Corporation. The box includes instructions on the back and a manual inside, with pictures of our journey.

The moment you have all been waiting for! We are about to make a huge splash with our new packaging! The beautiful new branding has a great shelf feel, includes simple to use intstructions and indicates the common groups that experience iron deficiency: athletes, women and vegan/vegetarians.
