Cardamom Chamomile Sleepy Tea

Spice up your evening wind-down ritual with our take on sleepy-time tea. The combination of earthy spices mixed with relaxing chamomile will have you feeling soothed and ready for slumber. Finished with just the right amount of honey, welcome to comfort in a cup.

Preparation time: 15-20 Minutes

 Ingredients:

4 cups water
1 tsp lemon juice
1 chamomile tea bag
1 1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk, like almond
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1 tbsp honey


Directions:
  1. Bring the water and lemon juice to a boil in a saucepan with the Lucky Iron Fish. Boil water for 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes, turn off the heat and remove the Lucky Iron Fish. Pour half of the Lucky Iron Fish water into a heat resistant container and store in the fridge for up to 1 to 2 days to use in other recipes.
  3. Add the chamomile tea bags to the Lucky Iron Fish water. Let steep for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Discard the tea bags and stir in the milk, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, and honey. Rewarm over low to medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
