Refreshing and Iron-Enriched Mint-Limeade

When life gives you iron deficiency, make Mint-Limeade!


1️⃣ Boil 4 cups of water. Once boiling add 2-3 drops of lime juice, as well as the Lucky Iron Fish/ Leaf.⁠

2️⃣ Continue boiling for 10 minutes. Then turn off the heat and remove the Fish/ Leaf. ⁠

3️⃣ Pour 1 cup of the iron-enriched water into a bowl and to it add 1 cup of sugar or maple syrup. Stir until completely dissolved. "Iron Syrup" is ready. ⁠

4️⃣ Allow the remaining water to cool. In the meantime, take a big jug and add to it the juice of 6 limes, handful of fresh mint roughly torn, and 2 cups of ice (bonus points if the ice was made with "iron water"). ⁠

5️⃣ When you are ready to serve, add the "iron water" as well as the "iron syrup". Stir thoroughly and serve in glasses with lime slices! 💚💚💚⁠
