High-Iron Dumpling Ramen

Ingredients

  • 1 Lucky Iron Fish/Leaf⁠
  • 6 cups of broth⁠
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce⁠
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce⁠
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger⁠
  • 1 tsp sugar⁠
  • 0.5 cup bok choy cut in wedges⁠
  • 0.5 cup shredded carrot⁠
  • 0.5 cup shredded cabbage⁠
  • handful chopped mushrooms⁠
  • handful frozen dumplings⁠
  • 1 pack of ramen noodles ⁠
  • garnish: chopped green onions, sesame seeds, sesame oil, + seasoning pack that comes with the noodles⁠
Directions:⁠

Bring the broth to a rolling boil. Then add in the Lucky Iron Fish/Leaf along with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, grated ginger, and sugar. Continue boiling for 10 minutes to fortify the broth with extra iron! After 10 minutes, remove the Fish/Leaf. ⁠

Next, add in the veggies, dumplings, and noodles. Simmer until noodles are cooked. ⁠

Serve in a bowl with ample amounts of broth. Add garnish and enjoy! ⁠
