Our CEO Joins the CanWaCH Board of Directors: Advancing Global Health and Gender Equality

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from the Lucky Iron Life team — our CEO, Dr. Gavin Armstrong, has joined the Board of Directors for the Canadian Partnership for Women and Children’s Health (CanWaCH).

CanWaCH is a leading Canadian organization that brings together partners from across the country and around the world to improve health outcomes for women, children, and adolescents. Through collaboration, advocacy, and data-driven action, CanWaCH strengthens Canada’s leadership in global health and gender equality which are values that deeply resonate with our mission at Lucky Iron Life.

A Shared Commitment to Health Equity

At Lucky Iron Life, we believe that everyone deserves access to simple, affordable, and sustainable solutions to improve their health. Our flagship innovation, the Lucky Iron Fish, was created to help families around the world combat iron deficiency which is one of the most common and preventable forms of malnutrition.

Joining the CanWaCH Board provides an opportunity for Lucky Iron Life to bring that same spirit of innovation and collaboration to a broader platform. Together with other leaders in the global health community, Dr. Gavin Armstrong will contribute to shaping strategies that advance equity and well-being for women and children everywhere.
