Chicken Noodle Soup Infused With Iron

Here is an iron-infused soup recipe that adults and kids alike will love to enjoy this winter.

4 carrots, peeled + shreddedâ

4 celery stalks, choppedâ

1 large onion, peeled + slicedâ

1 tbsp chicken bouillon (optional: veg bouillon)â

3 lbs, whole chicken (swap for mushrooms if making veg)â

Enough broth to cover everythingâ

Salt + pepper + pinch of turmericâ

Handful of parsley, choppedâ

1 cup, alphabet noodlesâ

1 Lucky Iron Fishâ â
đ„In a large pot, heat some oil and sauté the onions, celery, and carrots till slightly soft. â
đ„Next, add the chicken, bouillon, broth, and seasonings. â
đ„Simmer uncovered until the chicken meat falls off the bones. Feel free to top up with extra water or broth if neededâ
đ„ If you see foam gather at the top, just scoop it out.â
đ„ Use tongs to take out any big parts of the chicken. Pick any remaining meat off the bones and add it back to the soup.â
