Okay how many times have you paid $15 for a delicious noodle dish and just wished you could make it yourself so you didn't have to fork out money every time you craved it? 👀 We can't be the only ones... right?
Today we are bringing you one such recipe! You'll love it because ⠀
🙌🏼 you can totally customize it to your taste and to any available ingredients⠀
🙌🏼 it is packed with iron because of course we're cooking with #LuckyIronFish 🐟
Let's get started! You'll need:
🔹1 Lucky Iron Fish
🔹1 pack of any noodles⠀
🔹1 knob of ginger, finely chopped
🔹2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped⠀
🔹1 thai red chilli, finely chopped (or just use Sriracha or any chilli-garlic paste)
🔹1 tbsp rice vinegar 💧this is your acidity
🔹1 tbsp soy sauce
🔹1 tsp honey / sugar / palm sugar
🔹 3 cups water or broth
🔹1 cup coconut milk
🔹Spicy basil and green onions to garnish
🔹 Vegetables and meats of your choice
1️⃣Heat oil in a wok or a pot. If you are using any meats, cook those now. If not, add ginger, garlic, and any veggies of your choice (we would recommend carrots, broccoli, celery, tofu).
2️⃣Once veggies / meats are cooked, add chillies or chilli-garlic sauce, rice vinegar, soy cause, honey, water / broth, coconut milk.
3️⃣ Once the liquid comes to a boil, drop your Lucky Iron Fish. Let it cook for 10 minutes ⏰ then remove it. Wash and dry thoroughly before putting it away.
4️⃣Add in your noodles and let them cook for as long the the package instructs for.
5️⃣Turn off heat and serve. Top with some extra chilli-garlic sauce, some spicy basil or green onions, and serve with a side of sprouts salad.
Enjoy! 🍜
