Green It Up High Iron Smoothie

Ingredients

1/4 cup almond milk

1 cup spinach

1/2 avocado

1/4c orange juice

1 tsp chia seeds

1 cup iron-fortified ice

~ Iron Fortified Ice ~

1L of water

1/2 tsp of vinegar

Lucky Iron Fish/Leaf

Directions: 

  • To make the iron-fortified ice, bring 4 cups of water to a boil and add a 1/2 tsp of vinegar. Add the Lucky Iron Fish/Leaf and allow it to boil for 10 minutes. 
  • Allow the water to cool then pour into ice cube trays and freeze for 4 hours or until solid.
  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
