There is something so nostalgic about sipping hot chocolate with the family during the winter season. Here are some more reasons to love this holiday favourite:⁠ ➡️ Did you know cacao is a superfood? It has antioxidants, magnesium, and yes even iron!

1️⃣ Just bring the liquid to a boil. Then add the cinnamon, citrus juice and the #LuckyIronFish or Leaf and continue boiling for 10 minutes. ⁠

2️⃣ Remove the Leaf/ Fish. Lower heat so the liquid is only simmering now. ⁠

3️⃣ Add the cacao powder and maple syrup and whisk till fully combined. ⁠

5️⃣ Serve the delicious, nutritious cup of hot chocolate as is or with your favourite toppings and sprinkles!⁠
